It has come to my attention that ebay no longer allows the sale of Teacher's Edition Textbooks. The claim I've been hearing through the message boards is that non-teachers, namely students, are buying the answer keys for their own use.
So what? If it is a college student, that person is an adult and has a right to buy it from anywhere else on the web. If it is a pre-college student, why isn't the parent watching them more closely? Don't punish the rest of us because some kids are cheating. ebay isn't for kids. BUT...Kids are also buying rated R videos, mature books, weapons, diet pills, and pretty much anything they need to self-destruct. Why take away the off-chance that they could absorb some knowlege from copying the right answers for their homework.
It just doesn't make sense. Something else must be up...
aaaargh! I just had to vent.
